  15.      Want a game for the kids that's educational and constructive?  Tired 
  16. of them blasting aliens?  Night Math Attack is a motivational game for
  17. practicing all 4 math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
  18. division), created with help from an educational consultant.  Faster speed
  19. and accuracy at these skills result in better problem-solving math ability
  20. and higher test scores.
  21.      The program has up-beat music, quality graphics, and no requirement
  22. for fast hand control.  Following the title screen and instructioins, the
  23. player chooses which math operation to practice.  The game screen has a 
  24. question at the top, 4 answers down the left side, a helicopter in the
  25. middle, and a choice of sound on/off at the bottom.  The player uses
  26. the joystick or cursor keys to fly the chopper up or down so it is level with
  27. the correct answer, and then uses the joystick or space bar to fire a missle
  28. at the answer.  A message then reports whether the choice was right or
  29. wrong.  The wrong messages are followed by the question with the correct
  30. answer to reinforce learning.  Wrong choices are generated randomly so that
  31. students will not become used to the same choices after repeated plays.
  32. After 20 questions a "report card" gives the accuracy rate.  There is a
  33. printout option which prints wrong questions and out-of-time questions for
  34. further study, which requires the printer driver to be in the devs directory
  35. of the boot disk.  Practicing math facts as little as 5 minutes a day usually
  36. results in a grade score improvement.

  39.      Night Math Attack works on all systems tested to date:  the stock
  40. A500 (512K), A500 (1 MB), stock A2000, A2000-030, A3000, and A4000.  Letters
  41. from users are welcome.
